Highly-functional Material Week Tokyo

Highly-functional Material Week (高機能素材 Week), organized by RX Japan Ltd., is Japan’s largest exhibition cluster for advanced and functional materials—covering high-performance films, plastics, metals, ceramics, composites, and related processing and inspection technologies.

Official schedule (Tokyo edition)

Per the official Tokyo site (material-expo.jp/tokyo), the next Tokyo show runs 27–29 October 2027 at Makuhari Messe, Japan. Published opening hours are 10:00–17:00 daily.

The Material Week portfolio also includes editions in Nagoya and Osaka on separate dates; this CMS record covers the Tokyo edition only.

What to expect

Visitors meet suppliers and technology providers across functional materials supply chains, from R&D and manufacturing through to recycling, laser, display, and heat-related technologies. Concurrent specialty shows are often held alongside Material Week at the same venue.
