PV EXPO (Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo) is Japan's leading trade exhibition for solar power technology, organised by RX Japan as part of SMART ENERGY WEEK. The show covers the full photovoltaic value chain — next-generation solar cells, modules, inverters, mounting systems, plant construction, O&M and energy-storage integration — bringing together manufacturers, EPC contractors, utilities and researchers.

Upcoming editions: Osaka, 18–20 November 2026 at INTEX Osaka; Tokyo (Spring), 24–26 March 2027 at Tokyo Big Sight; Tokyo (Autumn), 6–8 October 2027 at Makuhari Messe. The show runs alongside the concurrent SMART ENERGY WEEK exhibitions. Forecast scale for 2026–2027: about 2,380 exhibitors and 122,000 visitors across the co-located shows. Co-organised by the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA).
