Smart Grid Expo Kansai is a specialised exhibition held as part of World Smart Energy Week (WSEW) Kansai, taking place from 18 to 20 November 2026 at INTEX Osaka, Japan. Organised by RX Japan, it showcases the latest technologies across power generation, transmission and distribution, energy management, energy storage and smart-grid IT systems. Exhibits span grid stabilisation, demand response, virtual power plants, hydrogen and renewable integration, batteries and power-conditioning equipment, drawing utilities, trading companies, EPC contractors, manufacturers and municipal energy planners. Co-located with Battery Japan, PV Expo, Wind Expo, Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo and related shows, it serves as western Japan's key business platform for the smart-grid and decentralised-energy supply chain.
