Building Material & Equipment Expo is one of eleven co-located trade shows within JAPAN BUILD — International Building & Home Week, organised by RX Japan. The Osaka edition runs 25–27 August 2027, 10:00–17:00, at INTEX Osaka and runs alongside companion expos covering smart building, construction technology, real-estate IT, and related sectors.

Exhibitors present building materials for residential and commercial projects, including insulation and heat-shielding materials, flooring, exterior wall and roofing materials, openings and fixtures, wood and structural materials, architectural hardware and tools, design materials, earthquake and fire protection, security and soundproofing, plumbing and drainage, HVAC, and landscaping and exterior solutions. Renovation building materials, equipment, and construction services for buildings and commercial facilities are also featured.

Typical visitors include housing manufacturers, home builders, architectural firms, renovation companies, developers, general contractors, trading companies and wholesalers, and facility owners seeking sourcing and partnerships across Japan’s building and housing supply chain.
