SIAM EV CHARGING DAY - the 1st Growth & Readiness for EV Infrastructure Dialogue (GRID) - was held on 20 November 2026 at the Kamal Mahal hall of ITC Maurya, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi, from 09:30 to 16:00 hrs. Organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the one-day dialogue brought together automotive manufacturers, energy and utility companies, charging infrastructure operators, technology providers, financiers and policymakers to discuss the growth and readiness of India's electric vehicle charging ecosystem. Sessions covered the demand outlook for public and private charging, home and workplace charging, grid integration, business models and standardisation, fast-charging networks along highways and corridors, and the policy and incentive framework required to accelerate EV adoption. The event is classified by SIAM as a seminar and registration was handled directly through the SIAM events portal.
