Geomechanics Colloquium 2026
The 75th Geomechanics Colloquium, organized by the Austrian Society for Geomechanics, will run from 8–9 October 2026 in Salzburg, preceded by the 15th Austrian Tunnel Day on 7 October 2026. The event gathers over 800 specialists and includes a large exhibition area where companies can reserve booths and advertise. Main exhibition categories focus on tunnelling and rock engineering, sustainability in geotechnical practice, construction monitoring, infrastructure operation and renewal, power‑plant construction, international contracts and major projects, new regulations, and digitalisation in tunnelling. Participants can submit abstracts on topics such as the Brenner Base Tunnel, sustainability, monitoring during construction and operation, and digital tools. The programme also features a conference dinner, field trips, and networking opportunities, with advertising packages available for sponsors.
