Proposte is an international trade fair dedicated to furnishing textiles – fabrics, curtains, trimmings and wallcoverings – held at Villa Erba, Cernobbio. The 32nd edition (2025) featured 78 selected exhibitors from 13 countries, with a strong international buyer presence (27‑28 buyers from the US, UK, France, Saudi Arabia, etc.) and support from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ICE. The fair emphasizes premium quality, design innovation and technological research, and includes specialised zones such as Comocrea Interni (designers), Cometa Formazione, Alliance for European Flax‑Linen‑Hemp and Fashion Room, plus a start‑up area showcasing new materials and up‑cycling solutions. The event attracts industry professionals – textile editors, furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, converters, large retailers, contract operators and interior design firms – and offers networking opportunities like a gala evening. The next edition is scheduled for May 5‑7 2026, continuing the partnership with Villa Erba through 2028.
