Berlin Science Week 2026
Berlin Science Week is a city‑wide science culture festival held from 1–10 November 2026. It offers hundreds of free events that bring research into public spaces, including exhibitions, talks, hands‑on workshops, and art‑science collaborations. The 2025 edition featured over 350 events such as quick‑fire science talks, museum programmes at the Museum für Naturkunde, and the first exhibition "Beyond Us" at Holzmarkt 25. For 2026, organisers invite strategic Festival Partnerships (deadline 31 March 2026) that allow partners to shape the programme with full‑day events and communication campaigns, and Programme Partnerships (call opens 21 April 2026) for research institutions, universities, cultural organisations and independent initiatives to host events in Festival Centres or register citywide activities. Main categories of participation include exhibitions, participatory formats, public talks, workshops, and interdisciplinary art‑science projects, all aimed at engaging a curious, general audience across Berlin.
