The South Australian Plastic Modellers Association’s EXPO 2026 runs from Saturday 10 Oct to Sunday 11 Oct 2026 at the John Dunning Centre, Prince Alfred College, Kent Town. The two‑day public show (9 am‑4 pm) showcases a broad spectrum of scale models under the themes “As Seen on the Screen” and “Australiana”. Main exhibits include aircraft, armoured fighting vehicles, ships, automotive models, sci‑fi/fantasy figures and vehicles, dioramas, marine subjects, bikes and gaming figures. 2026 introduces new judging categories such as AK1 Animal Kingdom, multiple AFV scale divisions (AV1‑AV4), varied car classes (CR1‑CR4), several diorama sizes (DR1‑DR3), jets (JT1‑JT3), prop‑plane scales (PR1‑PR5), sci‑fi/fantasy vehicles (SF1‑SF5), and special junior (J14, I17) and scratch‑build awards. Entry is free for under‑17 competitors; adult admission fees are TBA. Entries close midnight 8 Oct 2026, with judging criteria specific to each category.
