Explore the Wonders of the Solar System: Upcoming Film Events.
For those interested in the mysteries of the cosmos and the fascinating celestial bodies that inhabit our solar system, attending events like the "Planets - Expedition into the Solar System" film screening at the Freiburg Planetarium is a perfect way to spend your afternoon. Scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th, 2025, at 3:00 PM, this event promises to not only entertain but also educate attendees about the planets that glitter in our night sky. Whether you are a space enthusiast or simply looking for an engaging family outing, this film will take you on an expedition that delves deep into the characteristics of our neighboring planets and their unique wonders.
In addition to the planetarium event, the Mooswald District Library will be holding a delightful storytelling session titled "Picture Book Cinema" on the same day at 3:30 PM. This reading program is tailored for children aged 3 and over and features our reading mentor, Beate Düe, who will read captivating stories along with projected illustrations. Following this, on April 3rd, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, cinema lovers can enjoy a more mature exploration into the realms of artistic expression with the screening of "Beauty and Horror," focusing on the life and work of the iconic director David Lynch. Each of these events serves as a reminder of the diverse experiences that film as an art form can provide, appealing to all ages and tastes.
