Modernism Week Overview

Modernism Week is a world-renowned celebration of midcentury architecture, design, art, and culture. The organization hosts a signature 11-day festival each February and a smaller 4-day festival each October. The upcoming October festival is scheduled for October 15-18, 2026, with the signature February festival running February 11-21, 2027.

Main Exhibits and Categories

• Architecture Tours: Mini-coach, bus, home, and walking tours showcasing modernist homes and neighborhoods. Featured tours include the Frank Sinatra “Twin Palms” Estate Tour and seasonal architecture tours running October through May.
• Educational Programs: Films and presentations focusing on the rich history and cultural impact of modernism.
• Experiences & Entertainment: Social events and unique cultural experiences highlighting vintage culture and interior design.

Mission and Impact

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Modernism Week is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and providing education about modernist architecture and design. The festival encourages preservation and sustainable modern living. A portion of ticket proceeds supports local preservation, neighborhood, and community groups.
