CBRNe Convergence Knoxville 2026

CBRNe Convergence is the flagship conference and exhibition of CBRNe World magazine (Falcon Communications, United Kingdom), bringing together civil and military responders, hazmat teams, researchers and technology providers to prepare for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNe) threats.

The 2026 edition returns to Knoxville - "the home of the R in CBRNe" - on the doorstep of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 National Security Complex.

Programme

Four pre-conference workshops on 3 November: Immersive Technology Training for High-Consequence Radiological and Nuclear Material Response (including a visit to the Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology and Training Campus, ORETTC); CBRNe 'High Threat' Exercise IV; Treatment by Toxidrome, scenario-driven multi-agency response training led by the Disaster Medicine Institute; and a CBRNe World Masterclass on lessons learned from the FIFA World Cup.
A main programme of national and international speakers covering emerging threats and evolving incident scenarios, new response techniques, procedures and equipment, lessons learned from real-world incidents, and best practice for command, control and coordination.
A dedicated CBRN medical afternoon session.
Core themes: access to global experts, cross-sector collaboration, and practical takeaways.

Series context

CBRNe Convergence runs several editions a year. CBRNe Convergence Canada 2026 took place 13 - 15 April 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown, Toronto, Ontario. The previous US edition was held in Orlando; that page is no longer published on the organiser's site.
