The Internationale Handwerksmesse (IHM) is organised by GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen and positions itself as the leading trade fair for the craft industry in Germany. Exhibitors present products and services across themed areas including kitchen culture, home living, construction and outdoor living, with emphasis on innovation, design, young talent and sustainable solutions.

Visitors explore hall presentations, special shows and forums such as the ZUKUNFT HANDWERK programme. The fair runs alongside co-located events on the Munich fairgrounds—including Garten München, FOOD & LIFE and Handwerk & Design—often accessible with a combined visitor ticket.
