ZUKUNFT HANDWERK is a forum focused on the future of skilled trades and the challenges facing craft businesses. Its topics include digitalization and artificial intelligence, securing skilled workers, business development, start-ups and succession. The forum is aimed at journeymen, master craftspeople, founders, successors and business owners. Beginning in 2027, ZUKUNFT HANDWERK will take place annually at the International Handwerksmesse (IHM) in Munich. The first forum edition in this new trade fair format is scheduled for 10–14 March 2027 in Hall C1, alongside the IHM area “Career & Crafts.” Visitors can attend the forum with a regular IHM ticket; a separate ticket is not required.
