At the show you can buy tickets online or at the entry. Online tickets are sold through a secure TryBooking page. Tickets allow one entry on either Saturday or Sunday. Seniors tickets are for people who have a Seniors Card, an Aged Pension Card, or who are over 65 years old. A child ticket is for a child who attends school from kindergarten (K) to year 12. Children under 5 years old get in free. A family ticket covers two adults and up to six children in K to Y12. You can also buy tickets when you arrive at the gate, but buying online may save time. Remember to bring the right ID if you claim a seniors ticket.
Plan some time to visit the traders and the big second hand stall. Bring a small bag for any items you buy and some cash if you like, though most traders accept cards. If you want to learn, stop and watch the modelling demonstrations and ask questions. The people who run the displays are usually happy to talk about how they build their models.
