The CEM Middle East Conference and Exhibition on Air Quality and Emissions Monitoring will take place in Bahrain on 8-10 April 2025, at the Gulf Hotel and Convention Centre. CEM Middle East, which is a continuation of the successful CEM Events in Europe that have run since 1997 will focus on the air and emission monitoring needs by industry and regulators in the Middle East.Middle East has major industries which contribute to air pollution, affecting both public health and the environment. Oil and gas, as the largest industry, emits significant amounts of greenhouse gasses, sulphur oxide, and volatile organic compound during extraction, refinement, and distribution. The region's power generation is heavily dependent on fossil fuels, which emit pollutants like nitrogen oxides and particle matter. Construction and manufacturing industries in the region are a major source of airborne pollutants, such as cement dust and sulphur dioxide.Local air quality in the area is also affected due to pollutants like sulphur oxide and nitrogen dioxide, which can cause smog, acid rain and respiratory and cardiovascular issues.The CEM Middle East conference will provide delegates and visitors with the chance to learn about the latest products and technologies for measuring and monitoring industrial emissions.
