Buying Property Abroad - Gothenburg 2026

Buying Property Abroad (Utlandsmassan) is the Nordic region's only exhibition dedicated to buying and living in property abroad, organised by Fair Media International AB, which runs about four editions a year in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The next edition runs 7-8 November 2026 at the Elite Park Avenue Hotel on Avenyn in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Around 40 exhibitors present residential property from Spain (including the Canary Islands and Mallorca), Portugal, Italy, France, Cyprus, Thailand, Indonesia, Tanzania, Dubai and Norway, alongside estate agents, developers, legal and financial advisers, relocation specialists and currency-transfer services. A free seminar programme covers buying a home in different countries, taxes and legal matters, retiring abroad, and education abroad for families.

The fair has moved from a traditional exhibition hall to the hotel conference floor, with a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, a wine bar and a golf simulator on site. Opening hours are Saturday 10:30-17:00 and Sunday 10:30-16:00; tickets cost SEK 95 and are free for children under 18.
