International Defence Exhibition and Seminar 2026
The International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) is Pakistan's flagship defence industry event, organized by the Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) under the Ministry of Defence Production. Since 2000 it has brought together defence manufacturers, armed forces, government stakeholders, official delegations, and industry professionals from around the world at the Karachi Expo Centre in Karachi, Pakistan.
The official IDEAS website (ideaspakistan.gov.pk) states that due to the current geo-strategic situation, IDEAS 2026 has been cancelled. Visitor and exhibitor registration is closed. The organiser announces that the next IDEAS will be held in 2028; specific dates for that edition had not been published at the time of verification.
The cancelled 2026 edition had been scheduled for 24–27 November 2026 at Karachi Expo Centre. IDEAS 2024 is noted on the site as the most recent completed edition. Exhibiting categories span land, air, naval and maritime systems, security and ISR, space, and cyber and emerging technologies, alongside spotlight programmes such as the inauguration ceremony, executive golf, gala dinner, and the International Defence Seminar.
