Aftershock is the West Coast’s largest rock, punk & metal festival, held at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California. The 2026 edition returns October 1–4, 2026.
Organizer Danny Wimmer Presents describes an outdoor, rain-or-shine festival with 115+ bands across multiple stages over four days. Aftershock first launched in 2012; the 2025 edition welcomed over 160,000 fans.
Venue
- Discovery Park, 1000 Garden Highway, Sacramento, CA 95833
- 302-acre park where the American River meets the Sacramento River, adjacent to I-5 in downtown Sacramento
- Entrances: Garden Highway (north) and Jibboom Street (south)
Park & Ride shuttles run from Cal Expo (1600 Exposition Blvd). Bike valet is offered on the Jedediah Smith Bike Trail.
Passes & attendance
Festival, single-day, VIP, Capital Club, camping, and hotel packages are sold via the official Passes page (also buy-now-pay-later via Fevo). All ages; every attendee needs a full-price pass. Re-entry is not permitted except Capital Club SVIP or JamPack admission + hotel packages.
