FISD Past Events Overview
The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) organized a series of events focusing on thought leadership, industry insights, and professional networking. Key events included:
- FISD LATAM 2022 (May 26): An in-person gathering highlighting member insights and thought leadership. The event required proof of vaccination and complied with local and national COVID-19 guidelines.
- FISD Webinar: How Standardized Data Documentation Helps Data to Flow (May 17): A virtual session designed for Asia/Australia-based members to reconnect and discuss data documentation standards.
- FISD Toronto (May 10): An in-person event featuring thought leadership and networking opportunities. The agenda included registration, FISD opening remarks by David Anderson, and welcome addresses from industry professionals.
Beyond these events, FISD provides professional development programs such as the FIA Certification, Data Licensing Specialist Certification, and Financial Information Technologist Certification.
