The 35th GastRo is a three‑day trade fair (16‑18 Nov 2026) for the hospitality, hotel and community catering sectors in Mecklenburg‑Vorpommern and the North‑East of Germany. Over 190 regional, national and international exhibitors showcase food‑service equipment, kitchen technology, beverages, sustainability solutions, digital tools and innovative products. Highlights include a Start‑Up Area for young companies, bartender competitions, a meat‑craft showcase, a dedicated action day for school and daycare catering, and the "Gastronomie des Jahres" award ceremony. The programme features workshops, talks, networking sessions and a tourism‑breakfast with the Rostock tourism board. The fair attracts more than 7,500 professional visitors, offering extensive opportunities for trend spotting, business contacts and industry insight.
