We are expecting more than 10 buyers to form partnerships with us from Hong Kong and other countries such as Italy, Japan, Korea (Mainland China), Malaysia, the UK, and Hong Kong.
I've met a number of new buyers, who are retails from Hong Kong and India. They also come from Mainland China, Southeast Asia, and Italy. Five new buyers, from Hong Kong and India as well as Italy, have placed a total of US$30,000 worth of trial orders for our optical frames. After testing the market, we expect them to place additional orders.
We have placed orders onsite with 13 suppliers, including seven new ones, for US$200,000 in optical frames and sunglasses. After the fair, we plan to purchase new products worth at least US$1,000,000 from other suppliers.
By attending Click2Match events, I found six potential suppliers for handmade acetate charms, titanium sunglasses, optical frames, and acetate sunnies. I've set aside US$110,000 to place trial orders with new suppliers found at the Hong Kong International Optical Fair.
