International Exhibition Build School 2026
The X International Architectural Festival “Our School” focuses on the design, construction, reconstruction, modernization and operation of preschool and school buildings, playgrounds and children’s sports facilities. The 2026 edition, titled “Change”, runs from 3‑5 November in Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor exhibition centre. The program is built around five strategic fronts: New construction – modern BIM‑based design, eco‑materials and multifunctional spaces; Reconstruction – careful renovation and adaptation of heritage structures; Science & Universities – creation of educational clusters, flexible labs and digital infrastructure; Safety & Ergonomics – human‑centred design that supports cognition and social interaction; Regulatory Practice & Dialogue – discussion of standards, typology and implementation issues. The festival serves as a professional platform for architects, engineers and managers involved in educational environments, and highlights the national school‑building repair programme targeting 7,300 projects by 2026 and over 11,000 by 2031. Organized by the Union of Moscow Architects with support from Russian ministries and the Moscow government.
