Chris HollinsPresenter and broadcasterChris Hollins, who has presented on television for over 20 years, is known as one of the most versatile and popular sports, news, and factual entertainers. He is best known as the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2009. Chris was the only contestant that never made it to the dance-off. In 2010, he also took part in the Strictly Tour. In the Strictly Christmas Special he was recognized for his iconic Charleston dance routine. The countdown featured the 25 most memorable dances from the show, as chosen by the audience. Chris is a regular on the spin-off Strictly show It Takes Two. Chris currently hosts and produces Golf's Best Holes which is broadcast by 36 broadcasters including Sky Sports Bloomberg and NBC Golf Pass. The series reaches 189 countries with 1.5 billion households. In the first season of this popular six-part show, Chris and Paul McGinley toured Ireland and Northern Ireland to play their favorite golf courses and enjoy the stunning Irish scenery. The second series, based in Portugal, premiered in April of 2023. Both series can be viewed on Sky Sports as well as on demand through NBC GolfPass. Chris will produce FORE in July 2020, a golf series presented by Tour star Tommy Fleetwood. The series features the funniest golf videos. He regularly hosts his shows on BBC Radio Berkshire. He was on the BBC One breakfast sofa again in Summer 2012, co-hosting Olympic Breakfast during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Chris worked as a sports reporter for BBC News 24 before joining Breakfast. He also covered Grandstand and Football Focus. Chris began his career in 1994 at Sky Sports, and has since worked at Channel One and GMTV. He also presented for Channel 5 and Channel 5. His previous BBC One credits include The One Show and The Great British Weather. He hosted the BBC Two arts show Show Me The Monet and BBC Two history series Find My Past For Yesterday.
