Organised by the Förderverein Lebendiger Dampf e.V., it brings together fully functional steam-powered models of railways, road vehicles, ships and stationary engines.

The 29th edition takes place from 5 to 7 November 2027 at Messe Friedrichshafen. Highlights include the world’s largest 5-inch and 7¼-inch gauge track system spanning more than 4 km, along with working model steam plants, miniature locomotives and live demonstrations that run throughout the event.
