NMPHA Health Policy Forum 2026
The NMPHA Health Policy Forum is the New Mexico Public Health Association's flagship annual policy event. For more than two decades the Forum has brought together public health professionals, policymakers, students and community partners to explore the policies and systems that shape health across New Mexico, and to advance policies that promote health equity and well-being for all.
The 23rd Annual Health Policy Forum, themed "One Health", is held in person on Thursday, 3 December 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Isleta Resort and Casino, 11000 Broadway Boulevard SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105. For the first time the Forum is presented in partnership with the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association, adding veterinary medicine, agriculture, environmental health and government to the cross-sector conversation on the basis that the health of people, animals and the environment is interconnected.
A planning committee of veterinary and public health professionals is developing the program around four shared concerns: mental health, food as medicine, provider shortages and disaster preparedness. Legislative proposals may be submitted for presentation during the Forum, and sponsorship opportunities are open to organisations that support NMPHA's mission.
Program details and registration information were scheduled for publication on 1 November 2026. The event is hosted by the New Mexico Public Health Association, based at 3705 Ellison Road NW, Suite B1-211, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87114.
