ABF Vanlife
Vanlife is a theme world within ABF Hannover (Abenteuer. Bewegung. Freizeit.), the leisure and adventure fair organised by Deutsche Messe AG at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. The zone brings the vanlife movement into the exhibition hall, showing artfully converted panel vans, new van models and modules and equipment for DIY conversions.
Programme highlights
- Vanlife-Camp - twelve customised and self-built vans from different brands, with their doors open and the customisers on hand to share advice on all aspects of vehicle conversion.
- Vanlife Stage - daily presentations on vanlife topics such as DIY conversions, the perfect floor plan, safe travelling and electric setups, plus tips on configuration and registration.
- Free one-hour vanlife workshops - including "Build furniture safely yourself!", "Don't buy a self-built van!" and "Electric set-up in the camper: safe or dangerous?".
- VANLIFE@NIGHT - an evening event with snacks and drinks at the food trucks and beach bar, stand-up paddling, a 60-minute unplugged concert by Gregor Meyle and a live DJ.
