Persontrafik 2028
Persontrafik is the Nordic region's largest and most important meeting place for the public transport industry. It is organised in cooperation with the Swedish industry bodies Svensk Kollektivtrafik (The Swedish Public Transport Association), Sveriges Bussföretag (The Swedish Bus and Coach Federation), Tågföretagen (Association of Swedish Train Operating Companies) and Taxiförbundet (Swedish Taxi Association).

Profile
The entire public transport sector gathers at Persontrafik to drive development forward and contribute to a sustainable society. The exhibition combines a trade show floor of vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and technology providers with a conference programme covering digitalisation, AI, autonomous vehicles, procurement, traveller behaviour, traffic planning, preparedness and social and ecological sustainability.
Programme highlights
Seminars and panel discussions with operators, authorities and industry bodies; awards recognising people and projects in the sector, including Kollektivtrafikens Eldsjäl; and networking events across the three days. Vehicle partners traditionally include Scania, Volvo Buses, Daimler Truck and Neoplan.
Previous edition
The 2026 edition was held at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm on 20-22 October 2026. The next edition returns to Gothenburg, where the fair was last staged in 2024.
