Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2026
Pravasi Rajasthani Divas (PRD) is the Rajasthan government's annual celebration of the state's diaspora, held on 10 December each year. The second edition takes place on 10 December 2026 at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India; the first edition was held on the same date and site in 2025.
Background
The 10 December date was announced by Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024, when the state decided to mark an annual day for Rajasthanis living elsewhere in India and abroad. The first edition was held on 10 December 2025 at JECC, Jaipur; the 2026 gathering is the second edition.
Programme
PRD showcases Rajasthan's living traditions, culture and history while highlighting contemporary achievements and growth across state sectors. The day is built around the theme Connect, Collaborate and Contribute: reconnecting families with their Rajasthani roots, fostering partnerships with non-resident Rajasthanis, and inviting the diaspora to contribute to social initiatives and the state's development.
Road to the main day
A series of Pravasi Rajasthani Meets is held in Indian cities ahead of the Jaipur event, including Bhubaneswar on 15 September and Guwahati and Kolkata on 28 September, serving as regional gatherings that feed into the December programme.
The event is coordinated by the state's Bureau of Investment Promotion, which also runs the Rising Rajasthan investor engagement platform. Registration, delegation and sponsorship details are published on the official Pravasi Rajasthani Divas pages.
