About Bakery ASEAN
Bakery ASEAN is a trade exhibition for the bakery and related industries, drawing on the full industry chain and global resources of Bakery China, which began in 1997 and is described by the organiser as the world’s largest dedicated bakery trade show. The ASEAN edition focuses on the ASEAN region and the wider global bakery market.
2027 edition
According to the official Bakery China page, Bakery ASEAN 2027 takes place 26–28 August 2027 at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center (Jakarta International Expo / JIExpo, Kemayoran) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The organiser cites nearly 20,000 square metres of exhibition space and around 50,000 expected visits from ASEAN and global buyers, including distributors, agents, manufacturers, chain stores, convenience stores and hotel-retail channels. Opening hours are not published on that page.
Why Indonesia (organiser notes)
The same official page highlights Indonesia’s bakery market growth, Bakery China’s ASEAN buyer and association network (including a China–ASEAN bakery industry seminar held in Indonesia in October 2025), government and association support aligned with China–ASEAN cooperation, and Jakarta’s role as a commercial hub for the region.
