Crimes Against Children Conference 2027
The Crimes Against Children Conference is presented annually by the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. The official site confirms: "The 39th Annual Crimes Against Children Conference will be held August 8 - 12, 2027 at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Dallas." The 39th edition therefore runs Sunday 8 August through Thursday 12 August 2027 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, 400 Olive St, Dallas, TX 75201. The conference is the largest of its kind and provides practical, interactive instruction for people working in law enforcement, child protective services, social work, children's advocacy, therapy and medicine who work directly with child victims of crime, and it also helps children heal. The programme covers detection, investigation, prosecution and healing interventions across physical and sexual abuse, neglect, fatalities, sexual exploitation, abduction, trafficking and internet-related exploitation. Attendees choose from more than 500 live sessions and over 50 on-demand sessions, taught by leading experts, and can earn up to 82 continuing education credits together with an official Crimes Against Children Conference Training Certificate. The weekly agenda opens with early registration and orientation on Sunday afternoon, and runs Monday through Thursday with workshop blocks in the morning and afternoon, refreshment breaks, an Opening Plenary on Monday morning at 8:00 AM, an optional Monday night networking event and an optional Wednesday night conference celebration; the conference concludes on Thursday at 11:15 AM. Two exhibit halls open from Monday through Wednesday, with exhibitors covering retail sales, law-enforcement equipment, professional training, technology equipment and forensic software, and the exhibition area hosts refreshment breaks and exhibitor workshops. Registration opens in March 2027, with general and final in-person pricing tiers and an on-demand option whose content remains available from August 8 to September 12, 2027. The host hotel runs a contracted room block for attendees, with overflow hotels including the Marriott City Center and the Hyatt Regency. Note: some interior pages of the site still carry text from the 2026 edition (38th annual), so the dates above are taken from the current 39th-edition announcements on the homepage and the FAQ page.
