Texas Bandmasters Association 80th Annual Convention
The Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA), serving the needs of band directors and students since 1948, hosts its 80th Annual Convention on July 22–24, 2027 at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio.
Main Program Categories
- Convention/Clinic: Sessions led by state and national experts sharing how they plan for and achieve the highest level of success with their band programs.
- TBA Academy: Professional development programming for directors.
- Student Summit: Educational experiences for students.
- Strategic Booster Institute: Training for booster organizations.
- Community Band Performances: Outstanding community bands perform at the convention; applications open September 1 – December 31, 2026, with invitations issued by March 1, 2027.
- Exhibitors: Music industry exhibitors showcasing products and services.
- Family and Social Activities: Family activities and TBA social events for attendees.
