Gartner Cybersecurity & Risk Management Summit 2027
Overview
Gartner Cybersecurity & Risk Management Summit is the Australia edition of Gartner's cybersecurity conference series, held 15-16 March 2027 at ICC Sydney. It is built for CISOs, security and risk leaders, and the teams that support them, and is shaped by Gartner's continuous research and roughly 200,000 annual conversations between Gartner analysts and the IT community.
Programme focus for 2027
The 2027 agenda is organised around the priorities security leaders are being asked to fund and deliver:
- AI security and governance - agent governance, AI-related threats, emerging regulation, and the risks introduced by AI-powered business processes.
- Identity security - protecting workforce, privileged and machine identities through modern authentication, access governance and identity-centric strategies.
- Cyber resilience - data security governance, policy orchestration across the security stack, and discovery, classification and protection of sensitive data throughout its life cycle.
- Additional tracks - post-quantum security, third-party and supply chain risk, security leadership, and cloud and data security.
The programme combines keynote sessions, breakout tracks, analyst-led sessions and interactive workshops, with more than 20 Gartner analysts on site to help delegates validate their security strategy and roadmap.

An exhibitor floor runs alongside the conference, giving delegates access to security vendors, service providers and integrators, plus structured networking with a large and diverse group of CISOs and cybersecurity leaders.
