The theme of the 2027 edition is "Transforming the Future of Energy: Innovations in Sustainable Biofuels, Bioenergy and Net-Zero Solutions".
The conference unites scientists, experts, businessmen, policymakers and innovators in a discussion of the future potential of sustainable energy, and serves as an interactive forum for knowledge exchange on the latest developments in biofuels, bioenergy, biomass and related fields. Germany is hosting the edition because of its highly developed biofuel sector and its strong research and demand for renewable fuel, making it a leading platform for exchanges on sustainable transport systems.

First round of abstract submission deadline: 29 October 2026. Early bird registration deadline: 30 October 2026. First call registration deadline: 15 January 2027. Final call registration deadline and on-site registration: 24 June 2027.
The venue is announced at city level as Berlin, Germany. A scientific committee of international academics and industry experts is in place, and an exhibition and sponsorship programme runs alongside the scientific sessions.
