SurfaceTechnology GERMANY is the international trade exhibition for surface technology, organized by Deutsche Messe at Exhibition Centre Stuttgart, Germany.

The official website announces the next edition: SurfaceTechnology GERMANY 2028, held 20-22 June 2028 at Exhibition Centre Stuttgart (opening 09:00, closing 17:00, per the official calendar export on the site). The show runs on a biennial rhythm; the previous edition was held 5-7 May 2026.

The 2026 edition closed with more than 4,600 trade visitors from 46 countries (around 30% from outside Germany; top source countries after Germany: Switzerland, Turkey, Italy, Austria, France) and more than 210 national and international exhibitors.

The show covers the whole process chain of surface technologies across all materials and branches - its slogan is "All materials. All branches. One show.", with the 2028 theme "Experience the Surface of Tomorrow". Programme highlights include the STG.ExpertForum knowledge platform, the Preis DIE OBERFLACHE (Stuttgart Surface Technology Award), the VDMA Oberflaechentechnik special show and the ZVO joint stand.
