Chatham Militaria Fairs 2026
Chatham Militaria Fairs, now held at the Kent County Showground in Detling near Maidstone, Kent, is a long-running series of militaria and collectibles fairs organised by James Aslett with over 25 years of experience. The Detling Militaria Fair brings together dealers and collectors of original uniforms, medals and decorations, deactivated weapons, badges and insignia, historical documents, field gear and a wide range of related collectibles. The showground hosts three Detling Militaria Fair dates each year — typically in February, May and December — alongside the large Military Odyssey living-history event each August Bank Holiday. Entry is payable on the gate (Early Bird £10 from 8:30am, Standard £5 from 9:30am, Re-enactors £2.50). The Kent County Showground offers ample on-site parking and is easily reached from the M20 (Junction 7) and M2 (Junction 5) via the A249.
