The 63rd Bologna Children’s Book Fair runs 13‑16 April 2026 in Bologna, Italy. It combines three concurrent sections: the core BCBF trade fair for children’s publishing, BolognaBookPlus (general trade publishing) and the Licensing Trade Fair/Kids (BLTF/Kids). Norway is the Guest of Honour, offering dedicated exhibitions and workshops. Main showcases include the Italian Excellence and Chinese Excellence illustration exhibitions, the Illustrators Exhibition, Comics Corner, and the “Turning the Page on Change” exhibition on Sustainable Development Goals displayed at the UN. The event hosts the Global Rights Exchange, TV/Film and Games Rights Centres, and the Bologna Licensing Awards. Awards programmes such as the BolognaRagazzi (BRAW) Amazing Bookshelf, CrossMedia, and the Strega Prize are presented.
