International Social Housing Festival 2027
The International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) is an initiative of Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing, together with its members and allies present in 31 countries and encompassing about 25 million dwellings - roughly 11% of the housing stock in the European Union. ISHF is the federation's principal meeting place for social and affordable housing providers, policymakers, researchers, city authorities, urbanists, architects and tenants' organisations to debate policy and share practice.
The 2027 edition is hosted in Lisbon, Portugal, from 7 to 9 June 2027. It is organised by Gebalis, the municipal housing company of Lisbon, and the Lisbon City Council in partnership with Housing Europe, whose members approved Lisbon as host city. The dates were announced by Gebalis in June 2026, and the official festival site confirms Lisbon for the 2027 edition.
Previous editions were held in Amsterdam (2017), Lyon (2019), Helsinki (2022), Barcelona (2023) and Dublin (2025). ISHF combines a conference programme of talks and working sessions with an exhibition and industry area, site visits and social events. The conference hall and the full programme for the Lisbon edition have not yet been published and will be announced by the organisers; the event is therefore listed at city level, in Lisbon.
