Orange FOOD Week is Australia's longest-running regional food festival. Held over 10 days each autumn in the Orange region of New South Wales — about 3.5 hours' drive west of Sydney — it brings together more than 50 events celebrating the region's chefs, growers, winemakers, brewers, distillers and producers. First staged in 1991, the festival is run by the Food of Orange District committee.
Signature events 2027
- Night Market — Friday 2 April, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Robertson Park. Nearly 50 stalls of local food, cool-climate wines, ciders, spirits and craft beers beneath festoon lights and the autumn canopy, with live music.
- Sampson Street Lunch — Saturday 3 April, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sampson Street. A once-a-year long lunch showcasing the region's best chefs, producers and winemakers.
- 'Meet The Producer' Workshops — Sunday 4 April – Friday 9 April, Orange CWA Hall, Byng Street. Show, tell and taste workshops highlighting the region's produce.
- FOOD Train — Friday 9 April – Sunday 11 April. A three-day guided food and wine trip from Sydney to Orange.
- Forage — Saturday 10 April, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, Orange Civic Centre, 151 Byng Street. A progressive degustation menu through the region's vineyards.
- Sunday Producers Market & Brunch — Sunday 11 April, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, Cook Park, Summer Street. Market stalls, local produce and a locally made brunch.
Tickets for 'Friends of FOOD' members typically go on sale in early December with general release mid-December; Night Market tickets go on sale 15 December 2026. FoodCare Orange is the festival's official charity partner. The festival operates on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri Nation.
