Boston Celtic Music Festival 2027
The Boston Celtic Music Festival (BCMFest) is presented by Passim, the Cambridge-based non-profit behind Club Passim and the Passim School of Music. Now in its 24th year, the festival returns January 14-17, 2027 to venues across Cambridge and Somerville, including Club Passim, the Crystal Ballroom, The Rockwell, Arts at the Armory and the Somerville Theatre.
BCMFest celebrates the Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Quebecois and other Celtic traditions of Greater Boston. The programme mixes traditional and contemporary sounds and pairs professional touring acts with local session musicians, highlighting performers across the generations.
The weekend opens with the First Round concert of traditional Celtic music and a participatory Boston Urban Ceilidh, followed by the Roots and Branches concert, a Friday night headline show, the all-day Dayfest across Davis Square, and a Saturday Nightcap finale. A Sunday live music brunch closes the festival.
