Pajaro Valley Quilt Association - September 14, 2026 General Meeting
The Pajaro Valley Quilt Association (PVQA) hosts a general meeting featuring speaker Anelie Belden presenting the "Dresden Dance Trunk Show." Anelie Belden is a nationally known sewing instructor, quilt and pattern designer, and author of "Thoroughly Modern Dresden."
Main Program
- 3-D Dresden Technique: A modern piecing method using "stitch-n-flip" with an additional layer of blades in the center that float on top of the Dresden, adding ruching to make the Dresden come alive
- Transformation of traditional Dresden quilt designs into updated, modern versions

- October 11 landscape quilting class
- Santa Cruz County Fair demonstration (September 16-20, 2026) - PVQA volunteers demonstrate quilting and handiwork skills
- 2027 Quilt Show "For the Love of Quilts" - February 2027, featuring Silent Auction and Live Auction
