Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum 2027
OVC EXPO - the 22nd Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition - takes place from May 19 to 21, 2027 at the China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan, Hubei, China. The show is expected to attract nearly 400 exhibitors and more than 30,000 professional visitors, with over 20 conferences and special events scheduled.
Since its first edition in 2002, OVC EXPO has developed into one of China's most prestigious and influential professional exhibitions in the optoelectronics and information field. It efficiently connects research and development, manufacturing, downstream applications and government resources, facilitates precise supply-and-demand matching, and serves as a platform for the central and western Chinese markets. More than 6,000 well-known companies from over 40 countries and regions have exhibited, close to 600,000 professional visitors have attended, and more than 200 specialist conferences have been held alongside past editions.
For 2027, the organizer notes that the global optoelectronics and information industry is entering a phase of multi-field breakthroughs and cross-disciplinary innovation, while China's overall economy tightens, market growth slows and competition intensifies. OVC EXPO will therefore run six major strategies: exploring the central and western markets, promoting collaboration between industry, academia and research, expanding overseas business, implementing digital marketing, and hosting more than 20 diverse industry conferences. Visitor audiences are being organised from automotive engineering, new energy, aerospace, shipbuilding, mechanical manufacturing, semiconductor-related industries and biomedical fields, with overseas buyers also invited.
Technology highlights named by the organizer include high-power lasers, micro-nano processing, precision optics, intelligent sensing, optical communication and photonic chips, and optoelectronics integration, with the aim of helping enterprises find new growth opportunities for upward breakthroughs.
