About the community

The Houston CIO Community is a local Gartner/Evanta program for CIOs from leading organizations. The peer-driven agenda is developed by CIOs, for CIOs, so that discussions address immediate leadership challenges. The Governing Body Co-Chairs shape topics and the agenda.

Applications are vetted against membership criteria so that conversations stay at peer level. After applying, a Community Program Manager schedules an onboarding conversation, including access to year-round community events.

Typical Inner Circle evenings combine networking reception, facilitated discussion, dinner, and informal social time. Exact session times for the April 2027 edition were not yet published on the official page at verification.
