JVA World Challenge | Junior Volleyball Association 2027
JVA World Challenge 2027
The Junior Volleyball Association lists JVA World Challenge as a three-day girls volleyball tournament for teams of any affiliation. The official event page states it is held at the Kentucky Exposition Center (EXPO) and the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) in Louisville, Kentucky, and is presented by Nike Volleyball.
Dates and who plays
The page gives one date block for the next edition: April 9-11, 2027, for 12U through 17U girls. Age divisions share those dates; they are not separate tournaments. Divisions at the Kentucky Exposition Center are the 12s, 13 Open, 13 Premier, 14 Open, 14 Premier, 14 Club, 15 Open, 15 Premier, 15 Elite, 15 Club, 16 Open, 16 Premier, 16 Elite, 16 Club, and the 17s. Divisions at the Kentucky International Convention Center are 13 Club, 14 Classic, 15 Classic, and 16 Classic.
This listing uses the Kentucky Exposition Center as the primary venue because the organizer names it first and assigns most divisions there. The Classic and 13 Club divisions named above still play at KICC during the same three days.
Entry and deadlines stated on the page
The listed entry fee is $875. The page says registration is closed and the event is waitlist only. Admissions opens March 9, 2027. Rosters must be submitted and finalized in OTTO EVENT (formerly SportWrench) by Friday, March 26; the page says a missed roster may draw a $25 late fee per team, and later roster changes go to [email protected]. Housing through Team Travel Source opens October 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. CT. JVA says it does not have a stay-to-play policy. A Southwest discount on the page is valid for travel from April 7, 2027 to April 12, 2027; those are travel dates, not the tournament dates.
Players and staff must complete the JVA insurance waiver. Adults on a roster need a cleared JVA background screen and Trusted Coach training, or a verified AAU background screen. JVA does not accept USAV background screens. College coaches register through University Athlete. JVA does not rent volleyballs for warmups; game balls are provided. Athletic trainers are at the tournament desks. Outside food, beverages, coolers, and camping chairs are not allowed in the convention center.
