Meet the Managers 2027
Meet the Managers is a one-day investment conference in South Africa, often described as the 'TED Talk of investment management'. It gives financial advisors and asset allocators direct access to portfolio managers from more than 30 asset management companies, including established houses and new boutiques, in concise 30-minute sessions covering fixed income, multi-asset and equity strategies.
Each edition runs at two venues: Johannesburg at the Sandton Convention Centre and Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The Cape Town leg of the 2027 edition is scheduled for 8 June 2027; the Johannesburg leg follows on 10 June 2027. Sessions are designed to deliver practical, portfolio-relevant insights immediately usable in client conversations, and attendance earns CPD points for financial planners.
The programme focuses on how leading investment managers are allocating capital amid AI-driven market concentration, geopolitical risk and shifting asset allocation playbooks. Attendees can compare large versus boutique investment approaches, review key risks shaping markets and discover new opportunities for clients. The event also provides extensive networking time with managers and peers.
