Bold Optical Fair (BOLD) — Dutch optical trade fair

Bold Optical Fair is the trade fair for the optical sector in the Netherlands, where opticians, optometrists and suppliers come together for a large-scale presentation of the latest trends, products and developments, plus lectures on the Kennisplein (knowledge square) and the Bold magazine/media programme.

BOLD runs two editions per year: a one-day BOLD Light in early March and a two-day BOLD XXL in early September, both at the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Admission

Admission is free, but a valid ticket is required; tickets can be ordered at the latest three months before the fair (QR code sent by e-mail, scanned at the entrance).
BOLD is open only to opticians, optometrists and optical staff; consumers are not admitted. Networking/acquisition by non-exhibiting companies is not permitted at BOLD Light.

Parking and access

The Brabanthallen has more than 4,000 parking spaces next to the venue; parking costs EUR 15 per day and is best booked online via parkeren.brabanthallen.nl.
The venue is a 15-minute walk from 's-Hertogenbosch Central station, close to the A2/A59/A65 motorways, and about 30 minutes from Eindhoven Airport.
