The Fiets en Wandelbeurs Vlaanderen is organized by Hicle and billed internationally as the Hike & Bike Experience. It is presented as Europe’s largest event for cyclists and walkers, drawing about 14,000 visitors to Flanders Expo in Ghent each year.

Visitors explore cycling and hiking holidays, routes, destinations, outdoor equipment, bicycles, and e-bikes. The program combines independent advice at information markets (around 100 volunteer advisors), more than 80 lectures and workshops, a large indoor cycling test track, and roughly 350 exhibitors. The fair runs alongside E-bike Challenge, Belgium’s major e-bike test event, under the broader Outdoor Weekend Gent concept from 2027 onward.

The confirmed 2027 edition is scheduled for Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February 2027, open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. The venue is Flanders Expo, Maaltekouter 1, 9051 Ghent. The 2027 theme is “Verdwaal” (Get Lost), celebrating unplanned discoveries on bike and foot.
