About the fair
The fair is part of a travelling national series run by the Korean exhibition organiser Dawn Exhibition / 새벽전람 (and partner 태한 for the Busan editions), staged roughly four to five times a year in convention centres, indoor gymnasiums and outdoor plazas across the country - Busan (BEXCO), Ulsan (UECO), Changwon (CECO), Gumi, Gyeongju (HICO), Daegu (EXCO), Jeonju, Gimhae, Pohang and the Government Complex Sejong among them. The Busan leg is traditionally held at BEXCO under a seasonal theme: 설날맞이 (Lunar New Year), 새봄맞이 (early spring), 여름맞이 (summer), 추석맞이 (Chuseok) and 겨울맞이 (winter).
Products on display span regional agricultural and fishery specialities, health-functional foods, home-living and household goods, small-and-medium-enterprise manufactured products and idea/design products, together with on-site prize draws, promotional events and discount sales of Korean-made furniture (storage beds, mattresses, solid-wood dining tables). The fair is open to the general public and admission is free.
