Gasparilla is Tampa's signature pirate-themed festival season, organized by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla for more than a century. The 2027 season opens with Children's Gasparilla on January 23, 2027, followed by the Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest on January 30, 2027, featuring the famous Parade of Pirates along Bayshore Boulevard. The season concludes with the Outbound Voyage on February 27, 2027, in downtown Tampa, welcoming the Krewe and local pediatric cancer survivors as the ship returns to sea. All events are free to attend and draw hundreds of thousands of spectators each year, making Gasparilla one of the largest annual pirate festivals in the United States.
