State of Maine Sportsman's Show
The 44th Annual State of Maine Sportsman's Show, a partnership between The Maine Sportsman magazine and the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, attracted over 9,500 outdoor enthusiasts.
Main Exhibits & Categories
- Sporting Activities: Sporting dog demonstrations, turkey calling contest, trail camera contest, and an archery station.
- Art & Craft: New additions included taxidermy, wood-carving, and an exhibit of original duck stamp paintings from all 50 states.
- Vendors: 125 vendors, outfitters, and non-profits on the exhibition floor.
- Seminars: Presentations by outdoor luminaries including Lanny Benoit, Joe Saltalamachia, Rick Labbe, and Tim Caverly.
- Youth Activities: Featured the inflatable "Within the Whale" and "Mr. Drew and his Animals, Too."
